Dream Art Contemporary Landscape. I wanted something that has a dream type feel to it. I never paint flat so my paintings have a lot of outrageously weird angles that seem to come together. When you take a picture of a painting with a camera, it flattens the image but as you can see, even with this painting, the steep angles are still somewhat noticeable. I was showing this painting to a friend so I brought it out to the studio and forgot about it. That next week a baby opossum ran inside the garage. I put cat food and water out for the little one he eventually walked out about a month later. While he was in the garage, he had the food and water that I set out and didn’t touch anything else except this painting, he licked all of the leaves off of the trees so I take that as a compliment because they did look realistic. I eventually re-did the trees on this new contemporary art landscape titled The Dream.
